With Mace I have undertaken:

• 3D, Floor Plan and Site Plan modelling (Revit and AutoCAD software)

• Space Planning exercises, both assisted and unassisted

• Existing and New Build project exercises

• Producing Phasing and Demolition Drawings

• Producing Tender Plans, Pre-Application and Planning Application Drawings

• Producing COBie Drops and BIM Deliverables

• Producing MEP Drawings per Engineer comments

• Producing Fire Safety Improvement Plans, including Fire Access Plans and MEP detailing

• Producing HVAC , Roof and Recess renovation plans per Engineer comments

• Report organisation and collation (InDesign software). This has allowed me to work with different disciplines, expanding my understanding of the larger context of the work I am completing at multiple project stages, primarily Options Appraisal and Feasibility Reports.

• Site visits and client meetings, recording condition on site and writing minute notes from site visits and client meetings

I have gained experience working with Site Logistics, Scope of Works, Outline Specifications, Schedules of Accommodation, Risk Registers, MEP content, Cost Reports and directly with Project Managers and MEP Engineers as a result of the work I have undertaken at Mace, which has greatly enhanced my knowledge and skills from Part 1.

Due to the sensitive and restricted nature of the work I have been tasked with as a member of the Design Team assigned to the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Home Office Frameworks, I am unable to include drawings or information related to that work in my portfolio.

I have worked on projects relating to Prisons, Secure Schools, Intake Units, Health Centres, Probation Hostels, Courts and Offices and I’m able to discuss the tasks I undertook and the work I have completed with these projects. I can also discuss the skills I have developed through my time with Mace, omitting identifying information related to specific projects.

I have also taken on responsibilities assisting the team assigned to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). I led a number of site furniture decants, arranged transport and storage/ disposal arrangements and completed site snagging and inventory checks.
