Narrative
This project required us to read and become familiar with Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities book.
1. Read an allocated chapter from Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, chose a particular passage that has an appeal, and begin to analyse and distil it into key spatially descriptive attributes through 6 key words / or phrases.
2. Produce a concept model for each of the key words and/or phrases that attempt to build physical representations of the characteristics they describe.
3. Design an adaptation or intervention to our site which is driven by the selected key words and/or phrases. This adaptation does not need to depict any particular functional use, but should simply be an expression of spatial and physical characteristics that are inspired by the allocated chapter and the key words and/or phrases extracted from it.
4. Build a final model that includes the refinement of all ideas you have developed within your sketch models, concept models and journal activities.
5. Produce 6 photographic studies of your model with each photograph attempting to depict one of your key words and/or phrases.

This is the section I was allocated from Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities with each of my six chosen phrases underlined.
